Role Overview
The Engineering Intern will work on the design, development, simulation and testing of electrical and electronic subsystems used in semiconductor processing equipment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical and electronic subsystems for semiconductor processing equipment.
- Analyze designs using simulations and hand calculations.
- Build prototypes and perform testing to validate designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design review, approval and release.
- Participate in idea-generation activities and contribute to innovative solutions.
- Learn Lam Research products, business processes and standards.
- Develop familiarity with state-of-the-art CAD tools.
Eligibility & Required Skills
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or another Electronics stream.
- Minimum 65% aggregate.
- Must be graduating in 2026 without any backlogs.
- Understanding of electrical/electronic component working principles.
- Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis and simulations.
- Experience or practical exposure to circuit testing and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on projects involving prototyping and assembly are useful.
- Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematic development using a CAD package is beneficial.
- Exposure to electronic/electrical circuit design and simulation software is beneficial.
