Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is inviting applications for the post of Industrial Adviser (Engineering), Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering) and Industrial Adviser (Chemical). As per the official notification of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023, the applicant should not exceed the age of 65 years. The selected candidate would be paid a minimum monthly salary of Rs. 131100 and a maximum monthly salary of Rs. 216600 on Pay Matrix Level-13 A. The chosen candidate will be appointed for a period of 5 years.

In accordance with the official notification of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023, there are a total number of 07 vacancies for the mentioned post. Based on the official notification of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on qualification and work experience. Pay Scale For Industrial Adviser (Engineering) and Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

The selected applicant will get a salary of a minimum monthly salary of Rs. 131100 and a maximum monthly salary of Rs. 216600 on Level-13 A.
For Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

The applicant will get a salary of a minimum monthly salary of Rs. 118500 and a maximum monthly salary of Rs. 214100 on Level-13 A.
Tenure 5 years
Eligibility Criteria For Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

Officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous bodies-

  • Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department. OR
  • With 2 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 13 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.

For Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

Officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous-

  • Hold analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
  • with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 12 in the pay matrix. And

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

Officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territory Administration/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory organisations-

  • Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
  • With 2 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 13 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.
  • With 6 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 12 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and possessing the following educational qualifications and experience.
Qualification and Experience For Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

  • The applicant should have a Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Industrial Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute.
  • The applicant must have 15 years of practical experience in the field of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Industrial Engineering in any Industrial Undertaking dealing with Planning/ Development/ Production/ Research Techniques of the Engineering Industry.
  • Desirable-
  • The applicant must have 5 years of experience in industrial undertaking exploring the latest trends/ techniques in engineering/ manufacturing technology with special reference to Indian conditions in techno-economic assessment of industrial projects.

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

  • Applicants must have a degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Industrial Engineering from a recognised University or Institute.

Desirable-

  • Candidates must have 4 years of experience in industrial undertaking exploring the latest trends/ techniques in engineering/ manufacturing technology with special reference to Indian conditions and techno-economic assessment of industrial projects.

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

  • The applicants must have a master’s degree in Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute.
  • Candidates should have a degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Desirable-

  • Applicants must have 5 years of experience in the Chemical Industry exploring the latest trends/ techniques in Chemical/ manufacturing technology with special reference to Indian conditions and in techno-economic assessment of industrial projects.
