DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Security Engineer Intern to join our team to support our cloud security initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with our security team to improve the security posture of our cloud infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Automation of cloud posture scanning and remediation
- Research and Analysis on cloud security solutions to protect cloud assets
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cloud security controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure design and deployment of cloud-based systems
- Stay current with the latest cloud security trends and technologies
Requirements:
- Pursuing a master’s or bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Knowledge on fundamentals of cloud security, networking, and infrastructure security
- Proficiency with Python scripting is required.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud platform.
- Contributions to open-source projects is a bonus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
