Introduction

As an entry-level UI Developer, you will join a team that’s pioneering the next wave of AI-driven analytics solutions, creating user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience across our platforms. This role is perfect for someone passionate about building intuitive and dynamic user interfaces and eager to grow in a tech-driven, innovative environment.

Location: Remote, India

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product management teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Convert UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application, ensuring high visual impact.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
  • Maintain and improve website and optimize applications for maximum speed and scale.
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
  • Participate in code reviews and educational programs to enhance skills in UI development and the latest web technologies.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
  • An understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
  • Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, or DurandalJS is preferable.
