Job Description

This role focuses on building and improving the Linux-based foundation of Nasuni’s NAS appliance platform using Python and C++.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Linux-based systems software using C++ and/or Python
• Write scripts and automation tools using Bash
• Debug issues across Linux OS, filesystem, and networking layers
• Contribute to system deployment and lifecycle workflows
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with QA and senior engineers
• Use AI-assisted tools for debugging and development

Requirements / Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python or C/C++
• Understanding of Operating Systems and Data Structures
• Hands-on experience with Linux
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with system-level projects

Preferred Skills

• Linux internals knowledge
• Bash scripting
• Filesystem knowledge (ext4, XFS)
• Cloud or virtualization exposure
• Git and CI workflows
