We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Analyst
Principal responsibilities
Own discovery of as-is operational processes and document them in the required formats
Define operational and technology requirements working with business and operations stakeholders to facilitate delivery and management of change
Ensure Operational Readiness for all changes, working closely with Operations teams
Perform Ops and Tech Impact assessment to ensure consistency with global Target Operating Model as far as possible, driving out local changes unless driven by pressing Business, regulatory or compliance needs across Operations and technology.
Demonstrate clear ability to grasp existing processes and practices and to align them to the GPS Operations Target Operating model and payments architecture.
Validate solutions provided by technology against business and operational requirements. Maintain rigorous change control standards around requirements and documentation.
Work with User Acceptance Testing team, Software Delivery and Operations teams to drive delivery of requirements aligning to timelines.
Requirements
Excellent Stakeholder Management and collaboration skills and experience working across multiple geographies and different cultures with the ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence at senior levels in the organisation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with diverse and geographically dispersed teams and be resilient and pragmatic.
Detailed knowledge of working of Payments – operations and technology
Detailed knowledge Business Analysis and delivery processes like requirements management for technology and business process using relevant tooling like JIRA
Possess excellent payments knowledge gained over a number of years working preferably in a multi-regional role.
Ability to transition rapidly into role and become effective within a short period.
Ability to make sound decisions and drive solutions based on those decisions, with the support of the wider team
Proactive and willing to use own initiative to resolve issues in solution-driven environment.
