Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Jira Administrator to join our team. As the Jira Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our Jira platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to configure, customize, and optimize Jira for various projects and workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain Jira, including user management, workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement customized solutions within Jira.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira functionality, performance, and integrations.
- Provide training and support to users on Jira best practices and usage.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system procedures and guidelines.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure proper integration with other systems and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and recommend improvements to optimize Jira performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Jira Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Jira configurations, workflows, permissions, and user management.
- Experience with Jira integrations and plugins.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
