Job Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software components and services within the ProdigalTech platform. This includes developing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Platform Enhancement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform by optimizing existing systems, adding new features, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure the successful delivery of platform features.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise in the development and production environment.
- Best Practices: Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends in software development and apply them to our platform development processes.
- Code Review: Actively participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and support for fellow team members.
Job Requirements
- Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.
- A passion for software development and a desire to learn and grow as an engineer.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Eagerness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Good-to-Have:
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, or cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
