About the Team
The Software Integration Team is responsible for ensuring seamless communication and compatibility between multiple platforms, systems, software components, and APIs used by PayU’s merchants and products. This team plays a vital role in solving technical challenges, ensuring smooth integration, and supporting mission-critical payment operations.
About the Role
The Graduate Trainee – Associate Integration Engineer will support PayU merchants by diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving integration-related technical issues. This role requires a strong problem-solving mindset, technical aptitude, and the ability to work closely with developers, merchants, and internal teams.
Key expectations include identifying root causes, debugging issues, understanding product workflows, performing Level-1 technical support, and ensuring merchants enjoy a smooth integration experience.
Responsibilities
– Work directly with developers, merchants, and internal teams on pre-integration and post-integration support.
– Address technical queries related to payment APIs, plugins, SDKs, and transaction flows.
– Communicate technical issues clearly to both merchants and internal departments.
– Provide Level-1 support with strong product understanding and technical troubleshooting skills.
– Analyze logs and identify patterns, trends, and underlying system issues.
– Escalate recurring or complex cases to product teams for timely resolution.
– Enhance merchant experience through effective communication and fast issue handling.
– Maintain accurate documentation and ensure structured problem reporting.
Requirements
– Preferred batches: 2024 / 2025 graduates.
– B.Tech / B.E in CS or IT preferred (but any technical degree eligible).
– Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
– Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and troubleshooting abilities.
– Updated technical knowledge and quick learning mindset.
– Strong interpersonal skills and professional customer communication.
– Excellent English communication (spoken + written).
– Knowledge of web development in one or more languages: Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, VB.NET, PHP, Python (added advantage).
– Accurate record-keeping and ability to work under pressure.
