Job Description

We are looking for engineers with strong programming and embedded systems skills to work on large, complex software systems for land systems. You will participate in design, development, debugging, integration, and reliability improvements for software used in mission-critical products.

Core Responsibilities

– Development using C and C++.
– Work with operating systems principles (Linux, VxWorks, QNX).
– Program in multi-threaded / multi-process environments.
– Use Linux tools and Jira for development workflow and issue tracking.
– Design and implement tools to accelerate development and debugging environments.
– Participate in fixing issues arising from customer sites and perform root cause analysis.
– Design and implement built-in diagnostics and test codes to help reliability and supportability.
– Develop and maintain distributed architecture systems with intercommunication.
– Implement communication over various physical layers: Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA, ModBus, etc.
– Understand IP protocols, VLANs and Ethernet switching.
– Apply excellent analytical, integration and debugging skills and demonstrate clear written and oral communication.

Required Skills & Experience

– Knowledge of programming languages C and C++.
– Familiarity with operating systems principles (Linux, VxWorks, QNX).
– Experience in multi-thread/multi-process programming and inter-process communication.
– Proficiency with Linux and Jira.
– Experience with serial/ethernet communications and physical layer protocols (1553, CAN, ModBus, NMEA).
– Hands-on experience in large complex software systems, diagnostics and test code development.
– Strong debugging, integration and multitasking capabilities.
– Very good oral and written communication skills.
