ROLE:

We are looking for UX research interns to work on some tough UX challenges. Being a music streaming platform, we are responsible for creating a delightful experience for millions of our users everyday. We have been constantly evolving to give our users a better experience by focussing on user research.

We will be using qualitative as well as quantitative methods to find insights and solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct user research activities: Conduct calls to participants and follow the script to gain insights into various product features. Follow research protocols and methodologies to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
• Communicate effectively: Possess excellent communication and verbal skills to engage with participants and stakeholders. Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor to make participants feel comfortable and encourage open sharing of insights.
• Persuasive nature: Demonstrate persuasive skills to encourage participants to provide detailed and candid feedback. Use effective questioning techniques to delve deeper into participants’ thoughts, behaviours, and preferences.
• Curiosity towards technology: Maintain a curious and inquisitive mindset towards technology trends and advancements, particularly in the music streaming industry. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging research methodologies.
• Multitasking and time management: Be able to handle multiple research tasks and prioritize them effectively. Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage time and meet deadlines for research activities.
• Open-ended questioning: Possess the ability to ask open-ended questions that prompt participants to share detailed insights. Use probing techniques to explore user experiences, motivations, and pain points in-depth.
• Collaboration and teamwork: Work collaboratively with the user research lead and cross-functional teams to support research initiatives. Share findings, observations, and recommendations with the lead.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Undergrad or Graduate fresher candidate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Communicate well in Hindi
• Fluent in one of the following regional languages (Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu)
• Familiarity with customer service tools is a bonus
• Aptitude to learn everything about JioSaavn’s products.
• Should be comfortable with making calls and talking to users
