Who Can Participate
- Final-year B.E./B.Tech students (8th Semester) from Computer Science or IT disciplines only.
- Must be below 26 years of age.
- Minimum 55% marks in Class X and XII.
- No immediate blood relative working at IDFC FIRST Bank.
- No criminal record.
Job Description
- Role: Software Developer/Application Engineer.
- Ideal for final-year engineering students or recent graduates eager to start their careers in software development.
- Work with experienced engineers to build, test, and improve applications while learning industry best practices.
- Responsibilities include developing/debugging software, collaborating with teams, and staying updated on new technologies.
- Knowledge required: at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, etc.), data structures, algorithms, OOPS concepts, databases, and version control (Git).
- Additional exposure to cloud platforms, front-end/back-end frameworks, and DevOps principles is a plus.
- CTC Offered: Rs. 13.8 LPA (Fixed Rs. 12 LPA + Bonus Rs. 1.8 Lakh + Perks and Benefits).
Structure of the Challenge
- Stage 1: Online Coding Assessment
- Individual participation.
- Timed online test evaluating coding skills, problem-solving, and algorithmic thinking.
- Top performers move to Stage 2.
- Stage 2: Advanced Coding Round / Interviews
- In-person final technical interviews.
- Locations: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad.

Assessment Details
- Assessment Date: Sunday, 27th July 2025.
- Sections:
- Aptitude Section: 20 minutes.
- Coding Questions: 60+ minutes.
- Choose any one slot:
- Morning Slot: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
- Evening Slot: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
- Questions will differ per slot and are not repeated.
- Only one attempt is allowed. Limited second attempt may be considered on Monday evening if unavailable on Sunday.
