Roles and Responsibilities
Provide technical support to Power and Life Science customers within India, both on-site and virtually.
Perform routine tests and analyses focusing on thermal interface material, potting compound, conformal coating, encapsulants, structural and elastomeric adhesives, etc.
Maintain technical expertise and skills in line with the SBU/SU strategy.
Report laboratory results and methods according to accepted standards and communicate with internal/external customers.
Prepare test matrices, conduct various tests using lab equipment, and analyze results. Use digital tools like Albert, Nautilus, and ACE to submit test reports.
Respond quickly to customer and field AE test requests and provide qualified test reports.
Conduct all laboratory work safely, using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adhering to site safety practices, using laboratory equipment, maintaining 5S, etc., and managing lab equipment maintenance and calibration activities.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage various adhesive dispensing equipment handling HMA, TIM, Silicone, Modified Silane & Anaerobic chemistry.
Education and Skills
Minimum 0-1 year related experience, preferably laboratory experience or technical services in a lab.
Bachelor’s degree in Polymer/Chemistry or a relevant field.
Ability to work independently, communicate with laboratory members, and maintain organized records/reports.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Advanced user of MS Office applications.
Ability to understand products associated with assigned technologies.
Excellent hands-on and equipment competency.
