Engineer Trainee
Engineer Trainee will be responsible for maintaining and administering computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations etc. Analyst will monitor the production servers, scheduled jobs, incident management and receiving incidents and requests from end-users, analysing these and either responding to the end user with a solution. They need to provide support for Windows, Network, Database. Storage, Messaging and collaboration & Cloud support.
Key responsibilities
Perform activities based on defined guidelines in SOPs / Runbooks with business impact understanding.
Adherence to customer security and compliance requirements.
Adherence to customer communication etiquettes.
Ensure stated productivity requirements for the engagement.
Contribution to continuous service improvement plans (CSI).
Contribute to and participate proactively in knowledge sharing sessions.
Act as a buddy for new hires.
Organisation – Adherence to Organisational policies and processes (including Cognizant’s security policies, LP, timelines etc).
Role expectations
Associate should be client focused and able to work with users from different communities and cultures across the globe.
To work in 24/7 environment, willing to relocate to any part of India based of project requirements.
Support available from Cognizant (post joining as Full Time Employee)
Night shift allowance will be paid by the project.

Compensation – INR 4,00,000 per annum
Eligibility Criteria
2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 Batch of B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA/M.S/M.Sc any domain/ all specializations (Full time degree).
At the time of registration, consistent academic record of a minimum of 50% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG with no standing arrears in current education.
At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum 50% aggregate in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears.
