Associate Software Engineer in Test

Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Serving as an expert in Anthology’s products, including their functionality and performance
  • Performing end to end testing to ensure the quality of the applications
  • Building automated tests to perform functional testing and regression testing
  • Working in an agile environment to ensure quality and on-time deliveries
  • Being involved in SET planning
  • Researching and experimenting with new technology that will advance future projects
  • Adhering to established delivery methodology, quality standards and best practices

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:
  • Up to 2.5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of Software Testing methodology
  • Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred skills/qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the education or knowledge management industry and e-learning technologies
  • Good understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Stash/GitHub
  • Experience in the full STLC lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Manual or Automation testing concepts
  • Knowledge of preparing Test cases
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Java, Appium, and Selenium
  • Knowledge of RESTful web services
  • Agile project experience along with working on Agile tools like JIRA/Confluence and ADO
  • Experience in Web and Mobile Application testing
