Role Overview
The role requires reviewing provided PDF pages, identifying and labeling meaningful page components, assigning reading order, recording relationships between elements and transcribing Telugu text exactly as shown. Annotators also review work completed by other Telugu experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Check whether supplied pages are in Telugu, legible and free of personal details.
- Annotate titles, headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, figures, diagrams and other meaningful regions.
- Assign component types and reading-order indexes.
- Record relationships between regions and associated figures or tables.
- Transcribe Telugu text faithfully, including handwritten content.
- Capture page metadata and flags for tables, formulas and handwriting.
