About the Role

As an Embedded QA Engineer Intern, you will work with the embedded engineering team and collaborate closely with software developers and hardware engineers. The role involves identifying defects, developing test plans, executing test cases, and supporting the quality assurance of embedded software systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for embedded software systems.
Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects.
Design and implement test cases to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and define test strategies.
Analyze test results and provide feedback to developers for bug fixes and system improvements.
Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks supporting continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve testing processes and methodologies.

Skills Required

Good understanding of embedded systems architecture.
Knowledge of software development principles.
Familiarity with hardware interfaces and communication protocols.
Knowledge of UART, SPI and I2C protocols.
Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Knowledge of Manual Testing.
Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Knowledge of test case preparation and test case execution.
Knowledge of test planning and testing tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. candidates may also be considered as per the job listing.
M.Tech and relevant PG Diploma candidates may also be eligible.
Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
Knowledge of embedded systems and communication protocols such as UART, SPI and I2C is preferred.
