Job Description
The Graduate Instrumentation Engineer will work under the supervision of a lead engineer or department manager to support automation and control system engineering tasks for client facilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design I&C systems and equipment based on client requirements.
- Develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and control schematics.
- Support development of control system deliverables.
- Create I/O configuration and hardware partitioning.
- Prepare field connection diagrams and DCS connection diagrams.
- Develop loop drawings and control panel designs.
- Create instrument wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
- Develop functional descriptions and control narratives.
- Prepare IQ/OQ documentation and control room layouts.
- Develop instrumentation deliverables such as installation diagrams and datasheets.
- Support engineers in concept studies and design.
- Review instrumentation and control system designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on system design.
- Define customer requirements and enforce engineering standards.
