Job Description

Job Title: Accounting Schematics

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting / Product Control professional with experience in International Banking. The role requires strong understanding of banking products, their accounting treatment, and end-to-end financial accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial accounting and/or product control activities for a range of international banking products.
• Ensure accurate accounting treatment of banking products in line with IFRS 9 and applicable local GAAP requirements.
• Design, document, and maintain financial accounting processes, including end-to-end transaction flows.
• Analyze and interpret transaction descriptions to ensure correct booking and reporting in financial systems.
• Support the maintenance and governance of the Chart of Accounts.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Product Control, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal control assessments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Financial Accounting, Product Control, or Front Office within International Banking.
• Solid understanding of banking products and accounting treatment.
• Hands-on experience with IFRS 9 and local GAAP.
• Strong knowledge of Chart of Accounts structures.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA).
• Experience working in large global or regional banks.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting and audit interactions.
