Job Overview

Candidate will be responsible for integration and test execution of RF, 5G, 4G protocol and performance, analyze and report sw defects, interwork with development teams in identifying potential fix and retest fixes. Also, responsible for the development of intelligent automation with Generative AI.

Minimum Skills

Responsibilities include test execution- RF, 5G/LTE Protocol, Performance and InterRAT testing. Candidate will also support troubleshooting and reproducing customer failures for debugging. Must have good call processing knowledge as per 3GPP specifications for 5G and 4G capable phones. Must have good Python/Perl knowledge for test automation.

Preferred Skills

Strong skillset in AI/ML. Background in Call Processing and Message Flow of standards for 5G and 4G – Experience in systems testing / development of 5G/4G Protocol implementation on wireless platforms – Good understanding of 3GPP specifications – Exposure to 5G, LTE test simulators and test systems like KeySight, Anite, R&S, Racal and Anritsu is a plus – Good understanding of RF/5G/4G test environment -Relevant industry experience in RF/5G/4G device testing required. Must have experience in scripting languages like Python/Perl for automation of test execution and log analysis.

Role Overview

The Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) is an entry-level engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems and restoring service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.

This role has the primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions and focuses on first-line support for standard and low complexity incidents and service requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors client infrastructure and solutions.
• Identifies problems and errors prior to or when they occur.
• Routinely identifies common incidents and opportunities for avoidance as well as general opportunities for incident reduction.
• Investigates first line incidents assigned and identifies the root cause of incidents and problems.
• Fulfils approved requests following agreed procedures.
• Provides telephonic or chat support to clients when required.
• Executes approved maintenance activities including patching and configuration changes.
• Follows the required handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity.
• Reports and escalates incidents where necessary.
• Ensures the efficient and comprehensive resolutions of incidents and requests.
• Proactively identifies opportunities for work optimization.
• Updates existing knowledge articles or creates new ones.
• Identifies opportunities for work optimization including opportunities for automation of work.
• May also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.
