Overview of the Job
This role focuses on upstream manufacturing and process innovations using intelligent, connected technologies to drive Industry 4.0 transformation. You’ll build advanced analytics (ML/AI/Optimization) models, integrate them into business processes, and lead digital transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for innovation projects.

Build and deploy ML/AI/optimization models to solve complex process problems.
-
Develop data pipelines and models across global sites.
-
Enhance process control strategies with predictive and prescriptive analytics.
-
Collaborate with process engineers, equipment owners, and IT/OT teams.
-
Define methodologies for predictive modeling, alarming, and reporting.
-
Research external trends to accelerate smart manufacturing.
-
Leverage reliability engineering + data science to minimize operational losses.
-
Drive innovation through data visualization, statistical modeling, and ML tools.
Job Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science.
-
Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques.
-
Strong business acumen to link data insights with decision-making.
-
Proficiency in tools like Python, R, SAS, Azure ML, Matlab, Power BI, Tableau.
-
Knowledge of functional programming & scripting (Python, C++, VB, .NET, Matlab).
-
Understanding of data architecture (databases, warehouses, big data).
-
Exposure to mechatronics and systems engineering.
-
Skilled in data engineering (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Knime).
-
Familiarity with Agile (SCRUM, Kanban), DevOps, CI/CD.

Awareness of IT security and risk management principles.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
