Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing activities to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues in our software products.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Execute test cases and report bugs using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to understand product vision, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Implement and maintain appropriate test harnesses to support automated testing efforts.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during testing, working closely with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Java, or Python.
- Mathematical aptitude and understanding of statistical concepts for designing effective test cases.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, effectively communicating with individuals from different roles and backgrounds.
- Thirst for understanding how all elements of the software ecosystem work together and developing QA approaches that align with the overall product strategy.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of software testing.
